I still can’t believe that launch is finally here, and I don’t think it’s become real to me yet! All I know is that I’m currently staying in a hotel in Atlanta, Ga, waiting to be picked up tomorrow at the airport by Adventure in Missions. I’m honestly stoked and ready but nervous about leaving for 11 months into the unknown. The first country we will be hitting will be Romania, and super excited to see how the Lord uses us out there and how He teaches us. I don’t know what to expect, but I know God has called me, and I’m just surrendering to that call and trusting in His plan. I just wanted to thank everyone again for supporting us and praying for us as we head out. Some of my squadmates and I had an incredible opportunity to attend the Passion 2022 conference a couple of days ago here in Atlanta. Before going, I had no idea what the theme was. I just agreed to go cause I thought it would be a killer way to start The World Race. Which it was!

The whole focus of Passion was Every Nation Every Tribe Every Tongue Every People. They pushed heavy the importance of taking the Gospel to the nations and unreached parts of the world! The message blew my mind throughout every session because, I kid you not, every scripture God has used to call me to The World Race was preached on or even the main topic of a sermon! At one point, I started to get a little freaked out cause I was like, who’s telling them all my information, haha, but I know it was the Holy Spirit confirming and encouraging me. Jackie Hill Perry even spoke on Isaiah Ch.6 “Here I am! send me”, which my Pastor preached on at my Commissioning/sending off service at church about a week ago. I also just wanted to thank God for my church that has committed to me and is so faithful in building me up through prayer and encouragement: I love yall! I want to thank Jesus that I know His voice, and when He’s saying, follow me not to hesitate but go. There’s a world out there that longs to know what it is to be truly loved and set free by Christ. Some caught in addiction, prostitution, severe depression/mental illness, riddled by demons, sex slavery etc., that never heard of or even got a chance to taste and see God’s goodness. There’s a responsibility for those who know Jesus, and it’s to go tell of His incredible power and Holy presence that saves, restores, and heals a broken and bound heart!

Romans 10:13-15

13 For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

God bless everyone, and please keep the squad and leaders in prayer as we go through more training and prepare to launch the 13th officially.

Blessings!
